Postmaster's Certificate - Acute-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)

The AGACNP Postmaster's Certificate curriculum option is designed for the nurse who has a master's degree in nursing and who is certified as an advanced practice nurse seeking eligibility for AGACNP certification.

Semester 1 (Fall)

NUR 660   Management of Adult-Gerontology Health Problems in the Acute Care Setting I   5 hrs
NUR 663   Acute Care Practicum I (3 hrs = 180 practicum hours)  3 hrs
Total semester hours:  8 credit hours

Semester 2 (Spring)

NUR 661   Management of Adult-Gerontological Health Problems in the Acute Care Setting II   5 hrs
NUR 664   Acute Care Practicum II (3 hrs = 180 practicum hours)  3 hrs

Semester 3 (Summer)

NUR 662   Management of Adult-Gerontological Health Problems in the Acute Care Setting III   4 hrs
NUR 665 Acute Care Practicum III (3hrs = 180 practicum hours)   3 hrs
