This program of study includes a minimum of 540 practicum hours.  A student completing AGACNP related courses will be prepared to meet requirements to take the certification examination under the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) specific specialties and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) examination for Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

DNP degree student desiring to enhance their curriculum with nursing education courses must declare this course of study at the time of acceptance to the program.
