Jennifer Gandia comes to Mercer with a nursing career spanning more than 10 years. She has practiced clinically in adult health nursing and spent the past three years as a nurse educator in both undergraduate adjunct and fulltime faculty positions. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree, with a concentration in nursing education, from the University of West Georgia. Mrs. Gandia is well respected among both her peers and students for her passionate approach to nursing education and her effective mentorship of students. In July 2013, she co-authored "Utilizing a Electronic Medication Reconciliation Form to Improve Clinical Outcomes of Chronic Heart Failure Patients", Heart & Lung: The Journal of Acute and Critical Care, 42(4), 302–303 and presented the accompanying poster at the Association for Heart Failure Nurses 2013 annual convention. Mrs. Gandia is an active member of GANE and Phi Kappa Phi. She holds the position of Leadership Succession Committee Member for Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Chapter 395, Pi Nu.
