Dr. Davis has been a nurse for over 40 years and has worked in a variety of settings including emergency, ambulatory care, and in wound, ostomy, and continence services. In addition, she served as a reservist in the Army Nurse Corps for 10 years.  Her last fifteen years in academe have included ADN and RN to BSN nursing education.

Dr. Davis’ research interests include the use of pulsed electromagnetic fields for the alleviation of pain and in the management of urinary incontinence.  She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the National League for Nursing, and the Georgia Association for Nursing Education
