Responsibilities
- Leads the strategy, execution, and implementation of digital communications for the University
- Ensures that the Mercer Homepage and other critical University websites effectively communicate the institution’s distinctives, accomplishments and mission
- Ensures that key marketing messages are consistently integrated into appropriate digital communications
- Consults deans, department heads and others on the design and deployment of digital communications that effectively market their programs
- Manages the development of new tools and applications that advance the institution’s marketing communications objectives
- Works to ensure web publishing policies and graphic standards are maintained and updated as needed
- Serves as a liaison between University departments and outside vendors that are contracted for digital communications development projects
- Follows emerging technologies that would allow the University’s digital communications to more effectively achieve its marketing communications objectives
- Supervises the Digital Communications team and manages underlying projects
- Chair of the University’s Social Media committee
