The Post-Master’s DNP program is an online format with both synchronous and asynchronous classes. We offer two post-master’s DNP options: 

Post-Master’s DNP with No Concentration (Generalist)

This program is for registered nurses who have a master’s degree in nursing.

Post-Master’s DNP with Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

This program is for registered nurses who have a master’s degree in nursing and are certified as an advanced practice nurse, i.e., nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, nurse midwife, or nurse anesthetist. Graduates are prepared to meet the requirements to sit for the certification examination under the American Nurses Credentialing Center specific specialties and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses examination for Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Post-Master’s DNP with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

This program is for registered nurses who have a master’s degree in nursing and are certified as an advanced practice nurse, i.e., nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, nurse midwife, or nurse anesthetist. Graduates are prepared to meet the requirements to sit for the certification examination under the American Nurses Credentialing Center specific specialties and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses examination for Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
