Adjunct Clinical Faculty:
Part-time clinical faculty positions are available for adult health starting January 2015.  Applicants  must have a masters degree in nursing from an accredited college/university and also hold a current unencumbered Georgia nursing license. Nursing Faculty:

  1. Endowed Chair in Nursing

    Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University is seeking an outstanding leader for the position of Piedmont Healthcare Endowed Chair in Nursing at rank of Professor. The Endowed Chair will cultivate mentorship and lead research in the College of Nursing. The Endowed Chair position is part of Piedmont Healthcare’s endowment gift of $2.85 million to the College of Nursing to enhance nursing education. Qualifications and Performance Expectations:  Candidates must hold an earned doctorate in nursing or a related health sciences field and credentials consistent with rank of professor. The Endowed Chair is expected to have a record of exemplary and sustained research, history of obtaining federal funding, consistent publication history, demonstrated leadership in the mentorship of faculty and students, graduate teaching experience, commitment to excellence in teaching, and a vision that will position the College prominently at the national stage.  Candidates must evidence academic experience regarding ability to mentor and develop faculty in the areas of scholarship, research, and teaching.  The Candidate must also hold or be eligible for an unencumbered Georgia RN license.

    The following standards of performance are an expectation of the Piedmont Healthcare Endowed Chair:

Georgia Baptist College of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, clinical (non-tenure) track faculty position.  Main teaching responsibilities will be in the undergraduate (BSN) degree program, along with a small percentage of didactic teaching in the graduate program.
