  • The TEAS is a test of math, science, English/language usage skills, and reading comprehension. At Georgia Baptist College of Nursing (GBCN), the TEAS score will be utilized in conjunction with the evaluation of transfer, cumulative, and science grade point averages in evaluation of applications. Other factors, including the essay, community involvement, as well as any clinical experiences and volunteer experiences will continue to be considered in selection of applicants for admission. The minimum required score for admissions to GBCN is a 74% composite. Exam scores are valid for one year.

  • TAKING THE TEAS:
To register for the TEAS Exam, you must first create an account through the ATI Testing web site. There are a number of testing site locations that offer the TEAS throughout Atlanta and across Georgia. You can choose to take the TEAS at a school site or a PSI testing center. The TEAS exam is no longer being offered at the Mercer Atlanta Campus.

To test at a school site location:

Payment and registration: Go to the online store section of the ATI website. Click on "Register for TEAS" on the left-side of the page.  As you choose your location to test, be sure to check if the school site is open to testers not applying to their program.

Transcript: After you have tested at the school site, you will need to purchase and send an official TEAS transcript to GA Baptist CON.  Go to the online store section of the ATI website to purchase and send the transcript.

To test at a PSI location:

Payment and registration: Go to the online store section of the ATI website. Click on "Register for TEAS at PSI" on the left-side of the page. Once you pay for the TEAS test you will receive an email confirmation and instructions on how to register for a test date at a PSI location.

Transcript: One transcript is included in the PSI testing fee.  Make sure to identify GA Baptist CON as the recipient of the TEAS transcript.
